Ryan Perry

Director of Manual Therapy
Ryan began practicing as a physical therapist in 2001 in Illinois and established his Seattle practice in 2018 at Avant PT. His career in outpatient orthopaedics and sports medicine includes Head Physical Therapist for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club (MLS), acting as a Clinical Instructor for over 100 continuing education courses nationwide, and is the Program Coordinator and Mentor for a Seattle based Sports Residency program.
He enjoys treating athletes of all levels from the weekend warrior to professionals in the NBA and MLS. He also very much enjoys treating runners, having 7 marathons in the books himself! Outside of sports medicine, Ryan has had great success treating patients with complex spine conditions and specializes in Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD).
Ryan is distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and is a Board Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association in both Sports and Orthopaedics. He is extremely proud to be the only PT in Seattle to hold all of the FAAOMPT, SCS and OCS credentials.
Outside of Avant PT, you can find Ryan hiking with his wife, Stacy, and their rescued labrador retriever mix, Guinness.
