Rick Young
PT, DPT
Rick, who is originally from Idaho, first became interested in physical therapy while rehabilitating his own college football related injuries. This spark was then solidified during his internship with the Strength and Conditioning Program at the University of Pittsburgh, where Rick had the opportunity to work with both collegiate and professional athletes. Interacting with injured athletes and assisting in their return to the field truly confirmed Rick’s desire to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Rick enjoys working with a broad spectrum of orthopaedic and athletic injuries, but has a particular interest in spine, hip, and shoulder conditions, and has found great success incorporating strength and conditioning into his patients’ rehab. His holistic approach involves hands-on, evidence-based, and fitness forward practices to help his patients recover and meet their goals. Rick is proud to provide his patients with an evolving program that expands into other facets of wellness such as nutrition, stress management and sleep.
In his free time, you can find Rick spending time with his wife, exercising, and exploring the beautiful outdoors that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
